If you are looking for ways to ensure that your products or services are guaranteed and that a client is able to receive the correct results, than one of the tools that can be used is a statement of work. When you have this binding legal document, then there is the capacity to ensure that the project management that will be taking place will be completed in the correct manner.
The use of a statement of work for project management is based around the concept of placing together a legal and binding document. Through this specific type of document, both the customer and the supplier will be required to meet specific credentials that are based around the agreement. This will include different elements from the business that are specific to the requests being made and supplied.
In a statement of work, it can be expected that elements such as the goals to be reached with the project, constraints that are placed on the services or products, criteria for meeting the desired goals or receiving the products or services and management guidelines in order to assure a successful project are included. This will allow the overall project management to be overseen and will allow everyone to understand the requirements.
If you want assurance within project management, then agreements between the customer and business with a statement of work will provide a legal document that can be used for communication and that will allow the business to provide the correct level of services or products that are within their capacity.
